Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of QRforPhoto, a service operated by InviteQR, LLC ("QRforPhoto," "we," "us," or "our"). QRforPhoto lets event hosts create a shareable QR code and gallery link so guests can upload photos, videos, and voice messages from their phone's browser, without downloading an app or creating an account. By creating an account, purchasing an event, or using a QRforPhoto guest upload link, you agree to these Terms.

The service

A host creates an account with an email address and password, sets up an event, and pays a one-time fee based on party size to unlock the gallery for that event. Guests do not need an account — they scan a QR code or open a link in their phone's browser and upload photos, videos, or voice recordings directly to the event gallery. The host can customize event details, set a custom site tag (URL slug), and download or manage the gallery.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use QRforPhoto to upload, share, or link to content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person. This applies to hosts and to guests uploading content to an event gallery. We reserve the right to remove content, and to suspend or terminate access to an event or account, if we believe in good faith that this section has been violated.

Payments and refunds

QRforPhoto is sold as a one-time fee per event based on party size — there is no recurring subscription or automatic renewal. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and have not started using the service for your event (for example, no guests have uploaded content yet), contact us at support@inviteqr.com within 14 days of purchase and we will consider your request for a refund. Refund requests outside of these circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Ownership of uploaded content

Guests retain ownership of and all rights to the photos, videos, and voice recordings they upload. By uploading content to an event gallery, a guest grants QRforPhoto and the event host a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and make that content available within that event's gallery, and to allow the host to download and manage it. This license exists solely to operate the service and does not transfer ownership of the content to QRforPhoto or to the host.

You are solely responsible for content you upload and for having any rights or permissions necessary to upload and share it.

Host responsibilities

As a host, you are responsible for how you share your event's guest upload link or QR code, including who you share it with and any privacy expectations you set with your guests. You are also responsible for any custom branding, text, images, or other content you add to your event page. You agree not to use the service to collect uploads from guests without a reasonable basis for doing so, and to comply with applicable law when sharing photos, videos, or voice recordings of other people.

Service availability

QRforPhoto is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and we do not guarantee any specific level of uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRforPhoto and its owners, officers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid to QRforPhoto for the event giving rise to the claim.

Account termination

You may stop using QRforPhoto and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@inviteqr.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if we believe you have violated these Terms, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to us.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of QRforPhoto after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
